Chobits Chi

This dress was based on a design from the art book, and can be worn as a Chii costume or as a Lolita dress. The costume is made of soft polyester with a slightly shiny finish. The entire dress is finished in pink polyester satin ribbon, with brown polyester satin ribbon on the top and draped around the skirt. The entire costume consists of the dress, sleeves, neck band, garter ,and ribbon ties and drape. The costume is actually two pieces. The bodice fits over the top of the skirt waistband and is secured with snaps to give the appearance of one piece. This design allows for the heaviness of the skirt. The costume can be hand washed. I recommend just a dip in warm mild soap and water, a good rinse, remove excess water in a towel and hang to dry. I do not recommend machine washing. Fluffing in a warm dryer should remove most wrinkles. All in all the quality of the costume is quite good.
